South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting— September 6, 2002 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) B. Tax Abatements (1) continued... Mr. Beitzinger introduced Mr. Richard Rupsis, owner of FDC Graphic Films, Inc. Mr. Rupsis informed the Commission that FDC relocated to South Bend from the northwest suburbs in 1995, bringing twenty - two families to the area. The sign products they make are completed on computers, eliminating the need for artists as in the past. The signs are all vinyl, peel -off and stick -on. Examples are stop signs, construction warning signs, highway billboards, etc. Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the Commission approved Resolution No. 1909 approving an application for real property tax deduction for property located at 3820 William Richardson Drive in the Airport Economic Development Area. (RJRI, LLC) (2) Commission approval requested for Resolution No. 1910 approving an application for personal property tax deduction for property located at 3820 William Richardson Drive in the Airport Economic Development Area.
