South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting— September 6, 2002 <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Public Hearings <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1901 <br />amending the South Bend Central <br />Development Area Development Plan. <br />The following items were entered into the <br />record: <br />(1) Affidavits from the Tri- County News <br />IL and South Bend Tribune that the Notice of <br />Public Hearing was published in those <br />newspapers on August 23, 2002; (2) A <br />statement from Mr. Mathia that on <br />August 20, 2002, copies of the Notice of <br />Public Hearing were sent to the affected <br />property owners and registered <br />neighborhood associations; and (3) As of <br />10:00 a.m. today, no written remonstrances <br />were received. <br />Mr. Mathia reported that acquisition of the <br />four parcels of land is required to meet goals <br />and objectives of the area development plan <br />for the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. It was noted that it is an opportune <br />time to acquire these properties with all four <br />parcels currently being for sale. One of the <br />parcels is located at 401 Monroe Street (Key <br />Bank building) in the River Glen Office <br />Park. Staff and the Redevelopment <br />A <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS. <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS. <br />
