Housing <br />(2) continued... <br />Mr. Rock noted that the amount of the loan <br />request is $7,850 and the amount of the grant <br />is $7,500. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Roemer, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Loan and Grant in <br />accordance with the Affordable Loan <br />Program for property located at 2107 S. Scott <br />Street. (Lorenza Rivera) <br />C. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for Letter <br />Agreement between Memorial Hospital of <br />South Bend, Inc., City of South Bend, <br />South Bend Heritage Foundation, Inc., <br />and the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission related to site acquisition for <br />Fire Station No. 2 relocation. (Memorial <br />Hospital expansion project) <br />Mr. Rock reported that Fire Station 2, located <br />near Memorial Hospital, will be relocated <br />under an Agreement with Memorial Hospital <br />in regards to their expansion project. The <br />South Bend Heritage Foundation, Inc. is <br />assembling property on the corner of <br />Lincolnway West and Chapin Street which <br />will constitute the site for a new fire station. <br />Memorial Hospital is willing to advance the <br />sum of $300,000 to South Bend Heritage <br />Foundation for the purchase of a portion of <br />the site, providing it will receive full credit <br />for the $300,000 as part of the payment <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE LOAN AND GRANT <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AFFORDABLE LOAN <br />PROGRAM FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2107 S. <br />SCOTT STREET.
