South Bend Central Development Area <br />(9) continued... <br />subdivide a section of the Hall of Fame <br />property. Future disposition of the parcel is <br />to an adjacent user. A proposal, in the <br />amount of $3,221, was received from <br />Danch, Hamer and Associates to provide the <br />required services. Staff recommends <br />accepting the proposal from Danch, Hamer <br />and Associates with a not -to- exceed amount <br />of $3,500. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Blake, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />IL professional services in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area and authorized <br />staff to retain Danch, Hamer and Associates <br />based on the scope of services and fee <br />provided. <br />C. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Addendum I to Community Development <br />Block Grant Contract. (CD01 -8138) <br />Mr. Schalliol reported that the CDBG <br />Contract approved by the Commission on <br />September 2001 allowed for the spending of <br />$300,000 from the Community <br />Development Block Grant Fund. The funds <br />are for the acquisition, relocation, <br />demolition and site preparation of three <br />parcels located within the 1100 block of <br />South Michigan Street. To date, only one of <br />the three parcels has been acquired. The <br />(60� 12 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE SOUTH BEND <br />CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA AND <br />AUTHORIZED STAFF TO RETAIN DANCH, HARNER <br />AND ASSOCIATES BASED ON THE SCOPE OF <br />SERVICES AND FEE PROVIDED. <br />
