NEW BUSINESS <br />A. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Commission authorization requested to <br />republish the Notice for Disposition of <br />Land with publication dates of April 25, <br />2003 and May 2, 2003 and Receipt of Bids <br />at 10:00 a.m. on May 16, 2003. (Former <br />Key Bank Drive Thru, 401 E. Monroe <br />Street) <br />Mr. Mathia reported that the expiration date <br />for bids to be received on the former Key <br />Bank Drive -Thru building located at 401 E. <br />Monroe Street was originally set for <br />April 18, 2003 which is a City holiday and <br />City offices are closed. The expiration date <br />for bids must be amended and the legal <br />notice re- advertised. Staff is requesting the <br />Commission's authorization to re- publish <br />the required notifications on April 25 and <br />May 2, 2003, with a new expiration date to <br />receive bids on May 16, 2003. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized the re- publication of <br />the Notice for Disposition of Land with <br />publication dates of April 25, 2003 and May <br />2, 2003 and Receipt of Bids at 10:00 a.m. on <br />May 16, 2003.
