South Bend Central Development Area <br />(6) continued.... <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the screening of the <br />dumpsters in the Senior Kelly parking lot <br />according to the conditions set out in the <br />letter and authorized staff to send the letter <br />to DTSB. <br />C. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) Staff report and recommendation on <br />negotiations with Rose Fuel & Materials, <br />Inc. <br />IL Mr. Laurent noted that on May 2, 2003 the <br />Commission received a bid from Rose Fuel <br />& Materials, Inc. for land in the Oliver <br />Industrial Park. At the May 16, 2003 the <br />Commission rejected the bid because it <br />required the Commission to significantly <br />increase the value of the Boilerhouse. The <br />Commission requested staff to continue <br />meeting with Rose Fuel in order to negotiate <br />an agreement that the Commission might <br />find acceptable. This is an update as well as <br />a request for approval for the course of <br />action the staff is headed down in <br />negotiations for disposition of property. <br />The basics of the revised proposal are as <br />follows: <br />► The boundaries of the site have been <br />revised to accommodate Hill Truck <br />Sales. <br />26 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE SCREENING OF THE <br />DUMPSTERS IN THE SENOR KELLY PARKING LOT <br />ACCORDING TO THE CONDITIONS SET OUT IN THE <br />LETTER AND AUTHORIZED STAFF TO SEND THE <br />LETTER TO DTSB. <br />
