South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —June 20, 2003 <br />recommends the Commission approve and <br />sign the Disclosure Statement. The <br />statement records there is zero (0) costs to <br />the Commission to complete the transfer of <br />the real estate. Signature of the Disclosure <br />Statement is necessary to complete the <br />transfer and further the implementation of <br />the development plan for the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the execution of the <br />Disclosure Statement for the transfer of <br />property from the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Authority to the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission. (Chocolate <br />Cafe) <br />(9) Commission approval requested for <br />Grant of Non - Buildable Perpetual <br />Easement. (Chocolate Cafe) <br />Mr. Mathia continued his presentation with <br />an explanation of the third document related <br />to the transfer of real property from the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Authority. That <br />document is a Grant of Non - Buildable <br />Perpetual Easement. " The document is <br />required to redraw the existing Non - <br />Buildable Easement to take into <br />consideration the proposed addition to the <br />Chocolate Cafe. The Redevelopment <br />Authority on June 18, 2003 approved a <br />Release of Easement for the original Grant <br />of Non - Buildable Perpetual Easement which <br />was signed by the Authority on July 13, <br />1998. The new easement is required by the <br />Building Department in order to obtain a <br />building permit for the planned addition. <br />Specifically, a permit for the placement of <br />12 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE EXECUTION OF THE <br />DISCLOSURE STATEMENT FOR THE TRANSFER OF <br />PROPERTY FROM THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO THE SOUTH <br />BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION. <br />(CHOCOLATE CAFE) <br />
