South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —June 20, 2003 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />B. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(8) continued... <br />Football Hall of Fame is located at 111 S. <br />St. Joseph Street. The parcel will be <br />transferred to, and become part of, the real <br />property owned by the Commission located <br />at 122 S. Michigan Street, commonly known <br />at the Chocolate Cafe. To complete the <br />transfer, the Redevelopment Commission <br />must approve and sign three (3) documents. <br />The first document is Resolution No. 1981. <br />This resolution formally records the <br />Commission's acceptance of the transfer of <br />the real property from the Redevelopment <br />Authority to the Redevelopment <br />Commission. The Commission is requested <br />to approve and sign Resolution No. 1981. <br />Staff recommends approval and signature of <br />the resolution because it will facilitate the <br />redevelopment of the Michigan Street <br />corridor, a major objective of the <br />development plan approved by the <br />Commission for the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Blake, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1981 <br />accepting the transfer of real property from <br />the South Bend Redevelopment Authority. <br />(Chocolate Cafe) <br />The second document is a Disclosure <br />Statement attached to the Quit Claim Deed <br />for the parcel which will be filed with the <br />County Recorder's office, Staff <br />IL <br />11 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 1981 <br />ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY <br />FROM THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY.
