Public Hearings <br />(1) continued... <br />the Notice of Public Hearing was published <br />in those newspapers on September 5, 2003. <br />Mr. Hunt opened the Public Hearing on <br />Resolution No. 1994 and asked if there was <br />anyone from the public who wished to <br />speak. There being no one from the public <br />who wished to speak regarding Resolution <br />No. 1994, Mr. Hunt closed the Public <br />Hearing for whatever action the Commission <br />wished to take. <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1994. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Blake, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1994 <br />determining to pay certain expenses incurred <br />in the Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />from Fund 433, The Redevelopment General <br />Fund. <br />B. Tax Abatements <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2002 approving an <br />application for personal property tax <br />deduction for property located at <br />1902 S. Main Street in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area. (General Sheet Metal <br />Works, Inc.) <br />Mr. Beitzinger reported General Sheet Metal <br />Works, Inc. was founded in 1922.
