OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Public Hearings <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1994 <br />determining to pay certain expenses <br />incurred in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area from Fund 433, The <br />Redevelopment General Fund. <br />Mr. Laurent reported that the funds to be <br />appropriated, in a total amount not to exceed <br />$5,551.76, will cover expenses incurred as <br />IL part of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) study <br />at the Ivy Tower Building in October, 2002. <br />The contract amount originally appropriated <br />was for $40,000. Appropriations, however, <br />do not roll over to the new fiscal year. The <br />final report needed to be received prior to <br />the last invoice being paid. That final report <br />took approximately eleven (11) months to <br />arrive. Staff will be paying the ULI invoice, <br />as well as an invoice from the Upper Deck <br />which provided dinner as part of ULI's visit <br />to South Bend. <br />Mr. Rock advised that the Public Hearing <br />file for Resolution No. 1994 was complete <br />and requested the following items be entered <br />into the record: (1) Copy of the Notice of <br />Hearing; (2) Copy of the Approving <br />Resolution; and (3) Affidavits from the Tri- <br />County News and South Bend Tribune that <br />c, 3 <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS. <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS. <br />
