South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting— September 19, 2003 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />H. West Washington- Chapin Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />Mr. Mathia reported that Resolution <br />No. 2000 is the counter part to Resolution <br />No. 2001. Resolution 2000 subtracts the <br />Studebaker Museum site and Center for <br />History site from the West Washington - <br />Chapin Development Area and Resolution <br />2001 adds them to the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. Today's action is to file <br />both resolutions and set a public hearing on <br />each for October 3, 2003. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted for filing Resolution <br />No. 2000 and set a public hearing on <br />Resolution No. 2000 for Friday, October 3, <br />2003 at 10:00 a.m. at a Regular Meeting of <br />the Redevelopment Commission. <br />I. South Side Development Area <br />There was no business in the South Side <br />Development Area. <br />J. Other <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Letter of Support for the appeal of the <br />current INDOT design proposed for State <br />Road 23 expansion between Twyckenham <br />and Eddy Street. <br />Ms. Hughes advised that staff is requesting <br />an expression of the Commission's support <br />to Mayor Stephen Luecke regarding the <br />19 <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED FOR FILING RESOLUTION <br />No. 2000 AND SET A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000 FOR FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3, <br />2003 AT 10:00 A.M. AT A REGULAR MEETING OF <br />THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION. <br />THERE WAS NO BUSINESS IN THE SOUTH SIDE <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />
