South Bend Central Development Area <br />(6) continued... <br />sections are included in the final lease. <br />The rental amount will increase $666 <br />bringing the negotiated three -year <br />agreement amount to the maximum of <br />$1,813.05 per month. Rent is current <br />and staff recommends approval. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the <br />Commercial Lease between the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana and Kendall <br />Catering, Inc., d/b /a Catering by Billie. <br />(7) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for security modification in <br />the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. (Palais Royale retail space) <br />Mr. Mathia reported that modification <br />of the Palais retail space alarm system <br />is necessary for the commencement of <br />renovation work. It will allow the <br />ingress and egress of construction <br />workers without setting off the alarm <br />system for the rest of the Palais and the <br />Morris. In addition, once the Vine <br />moves in, the modification will permit <br />the restaurant to operate independently <br />of the rest of the Palais alarm system. <br />Only one (1) proposal was solicited. <br />The proposal is from SCI Alarm, Inc. in <br />the amount of $785. SCI installed the <br />entire alarm system for the Palais and <br />17 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE COMMERCIAL <br />LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA AND KENDALL CATERING, INC., D /B /A <br />CATERING BY BILLIE. <br />
