Public Hearings <br />(6) continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2041 <br />appropriating monies for the purpose of <br />defraying the expenses of certain local <br />public improvements for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 2004, and ending <br />December 31, 2004, including all <br />outstanding claims and obligations, fixing a <br />time when the same shall take effect. <br />(Blackthorn Golf Course) <br />(7) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2042 <br />appropriating monies for the purpose of <br />defraying the expenses of certain local <br />public improvements for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 2004, and ending <br />December 31, 2004, including all <br />outstanding claims and obligations, <br />fixing a time when the same shall take <br />effect. (Fund 424, Wayne St. Garage and <br />Retail Space) <br />Mr. Inks advised that the Public Hearing file <br />is complete and requested the following <br />items be entered into the record: <br />(1) Affidavits from the Tri County News and <br />South Bend Tribune that the Notice of <br />Public Hearing was published in those <br />newspapers on February 6, 2004; (2) Copy <br />of the Notice of Hearing; and (3) Copy of <br />Resolution No. 2042. <br />G <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 2041 <br />APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF CERTAIN LOCAL <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2004, AND ENDING <br />DECEMBER 31, 2004, INCLUDING ALL <br />OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, FIXING <br />A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT. <br />(BLACKTHORN GOLF COURSE) <br />
