South Bend Central Development Area <br />(4) continued... <br />DTSB let the contract, the Commission can <br />assume the contract as part of the take down of <br />the property. It is recommended that DTSB <br />secure an assignable contract. There is no <br />authority for the Redevelopment Commission to <br />act in this matter. <br />Mr. Hunt requested that staff contact Ms. Laura <br />Guy or Mr. Matt Kahn regarding the elevator <br />contract and suggest that DTSB let the contract. <br />Negotiations for assignment can then be <br />considered during due process when the <br />property is being acquired. <br />The Commission referred Item 6.B.(4) to the <br />Executive Director and board of DTSB. <br />C. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Memorandum of Agreement between The <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission and <br />The Indiana State Historic Preservation <br />Officer.
