South Bend Central Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />review the map and legal description of the <br />current boundary and prepare new ones <br />which will describe the expanded boundary. <br />The cost of the proposed work is $740. <br />Staff recommends accepting the proposal <br />from Wightman Petrie, Inc. and the <br />Commission is requested to authorize <br />funding up to a level of $850 to cover the <br />cost of the service plus any materials and <br />contingencies. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />professional services in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area and authorized <br />staff to retain Wightman Petrie, Inc. based <br />on the scope of services and fee proposed. <br />(Survey services, southeastern boundary) <br />(3) Commission approval requested for <br />Letter of Agreement - Addendum #4 to <br />Letter of Agreement Dated August 22, <br />2001 between the City of south Bend and <br />Lehman & Lehman, Inc. (East Bank <br />Planning Project) <br />Mr. Mathia reported that the firm of <br />Lehman & Lehman has been assisting the <br />City with the development of what has <br />become a major master planning effort for <br />all of the East Bank. The work for the <br />original planning effort was covered by a <br />Letter of Agreement dated September 7, <br />2001.
