South Side Development Area <br />(1) continued... <br />the South Side Development Area <br />Development Plan. That property is located <br />at 4309 South Main Street. The parcel is <br />necessary to facilitate infrastructure <br />improvements within the Erskine Hills <br />Shopping District. A Public Hearing will be <br />held at 10:00 a.m., November 19, 2004 at the <br />Commission's regular meeting. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted for filing Resolution <br />No. 2107 and set a Public Hearing on <br />Resolution No. 2107 for 10:00 a.m., <br />IL November 19, 2004. <br />(2) Staff report on disposition of property in <br />the South Side Development Area. <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that KSK Scottsdale Mall <br />LLC has submitted a proposal to acquire the <br />Miami Street property Parcel 1 located at <br />4842 Miami St. The subject parcel was put <br />up for public bid by the Redevelopment <br />Commission with a purchase price of <br />$142,500. Receipt of bids was set for <br />October 8, 2004. There were no bids <br />received at that time and this one from KSK <br />Scottsdale Mall is the only bid received since <br />October 8. Legal counsel has advised that, <br />under IC 36- 7- 14 -22, if no bids are received <br />within 30 days of the bid closing date, the <br />Commission may consider proposals that do <br />not meet the offering price. The 30 -day <br />waiting period ends November 8 (next <br />Monday).
