The property is <br />presently owned by Art Mosaic Tile <br />Company of South Bend. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution <br />No. 2110 related to acquisition of <br />property in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area by Eminent Domain. <br />F. Airport Economic Development Area <br />1 Commission approval requested for <br />proposals for demolition in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. (52600 <br />& 52650 Olive Road) <br />Mr. Williams noted that that three <br />proposals were requested for the <br />demolitions. The houses had been used <br />by the South Bend Fire Department for <br />training purposes for a very long time and <br />have been determined to be of no further <br />use. They are now a real eyesore. <br />Bradberry Brothers proposed to do the <br />demolitions for a cost of $13,345 and <br />could do the work immediately; <br />Ritschard Brothers proposed a fee of <br />$10,507 and would complete the work in <br />two weeks; Warner & Sons proposed a <br />fee of $9,295 and will complete the work <br />in four weeks. Staff recommends <br />12 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No. <br />2110 RELATED TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY <br />IN THE SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />BY EMINENT DOMAIN. <br />
