Other <br />(1) continued... <br />WHEREAS, Phil unselfishly gave of his time <br />for the betterment of the community with no <br />concern for individual honor or recognition, <br />and has played an instrumental role in <br />setting policy and negotiating through the <br />details of many important projects; and <br />WHEREAS, Phil has never forgotten the <br />public he serves and has been committed to <br />the public process of decision making; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that <br />the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />hereby recognizes Philip J. Faccenda for his <br />exemplary commitment and distinguished <br />service to the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission and the City of South Bend; <br />thanks him for the outstanding contributions <br />he has made; and declares it will sincerely <br />miss his diligent work and his presence at <br />future meetings. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2116 <br />commending Philip J. Faccenda for <br />exemplary service to the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission. <br />Mr. Faccenda stated that he has enjoyed his <br />work on the Commission tremendously. He <br />has not done many things in his life for <br />thirteen years. <br />Mayor Luecke seconded the resolution's <br />sentiments commending Mr. Faccenda's <br />7 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 2116 <br />COMMENDING PHILIP J. FACCENDA FOR <br />EXEMPLARY SERVICE TO THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION. <br />
