Continued... <br />Mr. Hunt inquired if the fees proposed were <br />reasonable. <br />Mr. Inks replied that the fees proposed are <br />consistent with past bond issues and the scope of <br />services proposed have been reviewed by staff and <br />meet the needs of the City. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved a Letter of Engagement from <br />Crowe Chizek and Company, LLC to perform <br />financial advisory services related to the proposed <br />Erskine Village Development Project. <br />Commissioner King abstained from the vote. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Public Hearing <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2119 <br />amending the Sample -Ewing Development <br />Area Development Plan. <br />Mr. Inks reported that the Public Hearing file <br />was complete and requested the following <br />items be entered into the record: (1) Copy of <br />the Notice of Hearing; (2) Affidavits from <br />the Tri County News and South Bend <br />Tribune that the Notice of Public Hearing <br />was published in those newspapers on <br />January 21, 2005; (3) Copy of Resolution <br />No. 2119; (4) A statement from Mr. Laurent <br />that on January 21, 2005, copies of the <br />Notice of Public Hearing were sent to the <br />affected property owners and registered <br />neighborhood associations; and (5) As of <br />10:00 a.m. this morning, no written <br />remonstrances were received. <br />G 4 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED A LETTER OF <br />ENGAGEMENT FROM CROWE CHIZEK AND <br />COMPANY, LLC TO PERFORM FINANCIAL <br />ADVISORY SERVICES RELATED TO THE PROPOSED <br />ERSKINE VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. <br />COMMISSIONER KING ABSTAINED FROM THE <br />VOTE. <br />
