South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —April 1, 2005 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />B. Tax Abatements <br />(1) continued... <br />company was not located in a redevelopment <br />area when the abatement was originally <br />approved, but its current location is in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. The <br />Redevelopment Commission must approve <br />the tax abatement before it is reconfirmed by <br />the South Bend Common Council. The <br />South Bend Common Council will hear the <br />abatement at its April 11, 2005 meeting. <br />Ms. Sue Kinnucan expressed Hoosier Tank's <br />appreciation for the Commission's <br />consideration of the tax abatement. <br />Ms. Kinnucan stated that the equipment is <br />the same; just located in a different building <br />within the city limits. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2158 <br />approving an application for personal <br />property tax deduction for property located at <br />1710 North Sheridan Street in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. (Hoosier <br />Tank) <br />C. Housing <br />There was no housing business for approval. <br />D. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2157 approving the Fair <br />Rental Value of retail space in the South <br />8 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 2158 <br />APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR PERSONAL <br />PROPERTY TAX DEDUCTION FOR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 1710 NORTH SHERIDAN STREET IN <br />THE AIRPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />(HOOSIER TANK) <br />THERE WAS NO HOUSING BUSINESS FOR <br />APPROVAL. <br />
