South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —April 1, 2005 <br />5. OLD BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />A. Other <br />(1) continued... <br />City of South Bend. (SBDCA, SEDA, <br />AEDA SSDA, and WWCDA) <br />Mr. Williams reported that staff solicited <br />seven (7) proposals for mowing services <br />related to the 2005 season and received <br />two (2) responses. It was requested that each <br />development area be bid separately. The <br />lowest responsive bidder for each <br />development area is as follows: <br />Fitzmaurice Landscapin2. Inc. <br />— SBCDA $ 3,042 <br />— AEDA $ 7,053 <br />CFH Landscape Services <br />— SEDA $19,267 <br />— SSDA $ 2,310 <br />— WWCDA $ 1,295 <br />Staff recommends retaining the lowest bidder <br />in each development area as indicated. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hunt, seconded by <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />mowing services for the 2005 season and <br />authorized staff to retain Fitzmaurice <br />Landscaping, Inc. to maintain SBCDA and <br />AEDA; and CFH Landscape Services to <br />maintain SEDA, SSDA and WWCDA. <br />G <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />MOWING SERVICES FOR THE 2005 SEASON AND <br />AUTHORIZED STAFF TO RETAIN FITZMAURICE <br />LANDSCAPING, INC. TO MAINTAIN SBCDA AND <br />AEDA; AND CFH LANDSCAPE SERVICES TO <br />MAINTAIN SEDA, SSDA AND WWCDA. <br />
