Tax Abatements <br />(1) continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No. 2164 <br />Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR REAL <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2164 <br />PROPERTY TAX DEDUCTION FOR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 1227 W. COLFAX AVENUE, <br />approving an application for real property tax <br />1008 W. JEFFERSON BLVD., AND 1015 <br />deduction for property located at 1227 W. <br />W. JEFFERSON BLVD. IN THE WEST <br />Colfax Avenue, 1008 W. Jefferson Blvd., <br />WASHINGTON- CHAPIN DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />and 1015 W. Jefferson Blvd. in the West <br />(SOUTH BEND HERITAGE FOUNDATION) <br />Washington- Chapin Development Area. <br />(South Bend Heritage Foundation) <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2165 approving an <br />application for real property tax deduction <br />for property located at 715 and 717 Hill <br />Street in the Northeast Neighborhood <br />IL Development Area. (South Bend Heritage <br />Foundation) <br />Mr. Schaffer reported that the South Bend <br />Heritage Foundation is acting as the agent for <br />Madison Center which is the owner of the <br />lots. The two lots will be combined and will <br />constitute the site for the construction of a <br />new affordable single - family home. Garden <br />Homes by E.L. will build the new home and <br />sell it to Kristine Prock, an employee of <br />Madison Center. The home will be 1,100 <br />square feet and will have three bedrooms, <br />one and a half baths with a full basement and <br />a two car attached garage. The new home <br />will have architectural detailing compatible <br />with the historic character of the <br />neighborhood. The cost for the new home is <br />estimated to be $105,000. <br />G8 <br />
