She is checking with the legal staff <br />who work with the City's insurance to make <br />sure the amount of insurance is sufficient. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized the use of the Wayne <br />Street parking garage for a rooftop Bike <br />Night on August 26, 2005 subject to the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />being added as an additional insured on the <br />Certificate of Insurance and further subject to <br />the coverage limits being acceptable to legal <br />counsel. <br />D. Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) Staff report on acquisition of real property <br />in the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />(Norfolk Southern) <br />Mr. Laurent noted that the Redevelopment <br />Commission sent a non - eminent domain <br />purchase offer to Norfolk Southern <br />Corporation on February 15, 2005 for a <br />seven -acre property between Kendall Street <br />and Franklin Street, owned by their <br />subsidiary New Jersey Indiana & Illinois <br />IL 1 12 <br />COMMISSION AUTHORIZED THE USE OF THE <br />WAYNE STREET PARKING GARAGE FOR A <br />ROOFTOP BIKE NIGHT ON AUGUST 26, 2005 <br />SUBJECT TO THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION BEING ADDED AS AN ADDITIONAL <br />INSURED ON THE CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />AND FURTHER SUBJECT TO THE COVERAGE <br />LIMITS BEING ACCEPTABLE TO LEGAL COUNSEL <br />
