Mr. <br />Gibney responded that Mr. Amer was correct. <br />Mr. Gibney noted that staff intends to do the <br />same thing for the Airport area and the TIC` <br />funds that are aval ab e there. <br />Mr. .Pec kowsl i asked if the thirteen. projects <br />are listed In order of priority. Mr. Gibney <br />responded that they are not ranked by <br />priority. <br />.Mr. fling expressed Ins approval. Previous <br />plans were high level conceptual, some of <br />them bordering on. wish-ful thinking. Though <br />the projects might have been. nice to lave, <br />they didn't connect well with available <br />resources. What he 11 es about this is that <br />a's a plan with a series of action steps that <br />connect to availability of time, property an <br />other resources .necessary to make this <br />actually happen. It's a practical work plan. <br />Mr. Downes echoed Mr. King's comments, <br />saying it is truly comprebensive and long <br />term. He liked that it sets priorities, yet it has <br />flexibility bu llt into it and it is fiscally <br />responsiblc. <br />Mr. King made a motion to approve the <br />conceptual strateg'y for downtown South <br />Bend presented by staff. Mr. Downes <br />seconded the motion. The vote was four in <br />favor.
