We may revi.s .1t the potential of <br />establishing urban renewal areas in order to <br />run some of the other corridor programs., but <br />we're not ready to decide that yet. <br />Mr. Pee l ows i Mdleat d he didn't have a <br />problem with the ends; but may bave with <br />the means. He noticed that Lee Slavins as <br />signed for the UEA and asked his <br />relationship to the'UEA. Mr. Inks responded <br />that Mr. Slavinskas is PresideD.t of the'UEA <br />board. Mr. Peczkowski asked if he had some <br />other public office before. Ir. Inks <br />responded that he was a Common COUneil <br />member many years ago. <br />Ms. Meyer, yer, Director of Community <br />I evelopmcnt, who will be administering the <br />program stated that, although t cse contracts <br />with the Redevelopment Commission are <br />new, the UEA has served the city by looking <br />at the Western Avenue Commercial Corridor <br />27 <br />
