Public Hearings <br />continue ... <br />LaSalle Square and the 1l~arycrest/Llurwich <br />areas will be included in the Airport TIF. <br />Thank you, <br />Suzanne and Thomas Bulllock <br />843 Forest Ave. <br />There being no one else who wished to speak <br />regarding Resolution No. 2351, Ms. Jones <br />closed the public hearing for whatever action <br />the Commission wished to take. <br />(4) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2351. <br />Mr. Peczkowski: Actually, am I right in <br />seeing that we are going to be appending the <br />Miami Corridor to the four districts we have <br />already put together? My concern is that this <br />is just the tip of an iceberg of something that <br />is out of control. It's ensuring the future of <br />indebtedness to be passed on to our <br />grandchildren for them to sort out by <br />adding.... I have no problems with the <br />LaSalle Square item. When it was first <br />presented to us, that was fine. But then when <br />they added Hurwich, when they added <br />Sample-Ewing, and now it's going to be <br />more districts added to this. We are taking <br />from the golden goose, we're taking all the <br />golden eggs we can get and spreading them <br />out as best we can. My fear is that this is <br />going to be acheck-into-cash mentality. <br />We're quickly turning this over with our <br />TIFs. We're trying to do too much with a <br />small area (the Airport district) and trying to <br />12 <br />
