I had earlier sit ed to the <br />Commission a two page plan, which <br />continues to have thefull support of the <br />Common Council, as well as the surrounding <br />neighborhood. <br />Adding the LaSalle Square to the Airport TIF <br />District will provide a unique opportunity fog <br />new development in a critical area of our <br />city. Your support and action on this matter <br />will be a very positive economic step as we <br />move forward together. Revitalizing this <br />area ccnd providing key incentives for much <br />needed development, I believe will be most <br />welcomed by the residents of the 2 "d <br />Councilmalzic District. Pfei <br />2 nd District Council Member <br />Mr. Witwer noted that Resolution No. 2355 <br />expands the boundaries of the Airport <br />Economic Development Area to include the <br />LaSalle Square area, the Mar crest Hurwlc <br />area, and to consolidate the Sample-Ewin <br />Development Area into the Airport <br />Economic Development Area and amend the <br />Airport Economic Developinent Area <br />Development Plan accordingly. <br />
