Airport Economic Development Area <br />(1) approval requested for <br />Desolation No. 2348 designating and <br />declaring certain areas as economic <br />development areas to amend the <br />boundaries of the Airport Economic <br />Development Area by adding the LaSalle <br />Square and Marycrest Hurwich areas to <br />the Airport Economic Development Area, <br />by designating the expansion areas as part <br />the Airport Economic Development Area <br />Allocation Area No. I and by consolidating <br />the Sample - Ewing Development Area into <br />the Airport Economic Development Area <br />and to amend the Development Plan for <br />the Airport Economic Development Area, <br />Mr. Inks noted that Council Member <br />Charlotte Pfeifer sent the following letter to <br />the Commission related to this agenda. <br />Jane 1, 2007 <br />Re: Expansion of the Airport TIF District to <br />.Include LaSalle Square <br />Dear Honorable Commission Members: <br />Vince I am unable to attend today special <br />Redevelopment Commission meeting, I a <br />laving this letter had delivered. <br />You will recall that I sent to each of you a <br />letter dated March ]3, 2007 which followed <br />a Saturday Informal Meeting of the South <br />Bend Common Council and the City <br />Administration. Information was reviewed at <br />that meeting which focused on having <br />LaSalle Square added to the Airport TIF <br />Oj <br />
