South Bend Central Development Area <br />() continued... <br />Mr. King made a motion to approve the <br />request for proposal and accept the proposal <br />of Phifer Environmental Services in the <br />amount of $1,800 for the scope of services <br />proposed. Mr. Downes seconded the motion. <br />The motion was approved on a vote of four <br />to one. Mr. Peczkowski voted nay. The <br />motion passed. <br />Mr. Inks asked to consider item 6.B.(9) next on the <br />agenda. There was no objection and the item was <br />so moved. <br />(9} Commission approval requested for <br />Contract for Sale of Land for Private <br />Development in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. (101 N. Michigan St.) <br />Ms. Laurent noted that on February 16, 2007 <br />a form of contract was approved for the <br />disposition of the All American Plaza <br />project, including the restoration of 101 N. <br />Michigan St. and a new mixed-use <br />condominium building to the north. Staff is <br />asking the Commission to approve the final <br />form of the Contract for Sale of Land, the <br />Quit Claim Deed conveying lots to the <br />developer, and Deeds conveying the facade <br />easement to the Commission as presented <br />and authorizing the officers of the <br />Commission to execute and deliver these <br />documents and any other closing documents <br />necessary to complete the transaction. <br />Ms. Laurent noted that the documents <br />contain what was approved by the <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROPOSAL AND ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL OF <br />PHIFER ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF ~ 1,800 FOR THE SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />PROPOSED <br />24 <br />
