Staff requests Commission <br />approval of this proposal. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Proposal for <br />Professional Design Services for design and <br />construction oversight of the Oliver <br />Industrial Park memorial and Walkway <br />project. <br />(4) Resolution No. 2910 authorizing the <br />execution of an Addendum to the Master <br />Agency Agreement ( Nimtz Parkway <br />Multi -Use Path, Phase 1— Engineering). <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that Resolution No. 2910 <br />adds the Nimtz Parkway Multi -Use Path — <br />Engineering Project to the Master Agency <br />Agreement. The Addendum includes a <br />professional services proposal from <br />Abonmarche to complete the design and <br />engineering plans related to this project. <br />By way of project history, when Blackthorn <br />was designed in the 1990's, it was always <br />intended that a sidewalk would be created <br />throughout the corporate park as <br />development occurred. The decision was <br />made that a sidewalk would be installed in <br />the park when a critical mass of development <br />was reached, and it would be the requirement <br />of each site owner to allow for the <br />installation of a sidewalk at the appropriate <br />time. <br />Over the next several weeks, as part of the <br />Mayflower sewer construction project, the <br />city will be disturbing a large section of <br />right -of -way..
