COMMUNICATIONS <br />A. Communication from 97 taxpayers of South <br />Bend/Mishawaka regarding additional funding <br />for South Bend Animal Care and Control. <br />Mr. Inks noted that the Commission received the <br />following letters from Valerie Schey and Pam <br />Wesolowski in support of funding of the City of <br />South Bend's own animal care facility. At the last <br />meeting the Commission decided this was a policy <br />issue for the mayor and Council to decide. <br />Following a decision at that level, the <br />Redevelopment Commission could consider the <br />use of TIF funding for a new facility if that's the <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />SUBMITTED JUNE 14, 2011, AND ORDERED THE <br />CHECKS TO BE RELEASED. <br />
