� Violation of individual wastewater dischar�e permit conditions; <br /> " ii Failure to accurately report the wastewater constituents and <br /> characteristics of its dischar�e; <br /> iii Failure to report si�nificant changes in operations or <br /> wastewater volume constituents and characteristics prior to <br /> dischar� <br /> iv Refusal of reasonable access to the User's premises for the <br /> purpose of inspection monitorin�, or samplin�; or <br /> � Violation of the Pretreatment Standards in Section 17-8 of this <br /> Article. <br /> Such User will be notified of the proposed termination of its dischar�e and <br /> be offered an opportunity to show cause under this Section 17-11(c) why <br /> the�roposed action should not be taken. Exercise of this option bv the <br /> Director shall not be a bar to or a�rerequisite for taking any other action <br /> against the User. <br /> � Costs <br /> Any User who violates any of the provisions of this Division or who <br /> discharges or causes a discharge producin� a deposit or obstruction, or causes <br /> dama�e to or impairs the wastewater treatment and collection system (includin� <br /> all receiving svstems) under the jurisdiction of the Cit shall be liable to the Citv <br /> for any_ exQense loss or damage caused bv such violation or dischar�e. The <br /> DirectorT shall bill the User for the costs incurred for any cleanin� repair or <br /> replacement work caused bv the violation or dischar�e. <br /> � Administrative Fees <br /> � When the Director finds that a User has violated, or continues to <br /> violate an�provision of this ordinance, an individual wastewater <br /> dischar �permit or order issued hereunder, or anv other Pretreatment <br /> Standard or Requirements the Director mav fine such User in an amount <br /> not to exceed two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00). Such fines <br /> shall be assessed on a per-violation, per-day basis. In the case of monthly <br /> or other lon�-term average discharge limits, fines shall be assessed for <br /> each day durin��the period of violation. <br /> 72 <br />
