<br /> �} � Pretreatment of wastewater — facilities and _additional pretreatment
<br /> measures
<br /> � Users shall provide wastewater treatment as necessar�to complv with
<br /> this Division and shall achieve compliance with all cate o�rical
<br /> Pretreatment Standards, Local Limits, and the prohibitions set out in
<br /> Section 17-8(c) of this Division within the time limitations specified by
<br /> EPA the State or .the Director, whichever is more strinpent. Any
<br /> facilities necessar� for compliance shall be provided, operated, and
<br /> maintained at the User's expense. Detailed plans describing such facilities
<br /> and operatin procedures shall be submitted to the Board or its desi�nee
<br /> for review, and no construction of such facilities shall be commenced until
<br /> the User is notified in writin�that the plans are acceptable. The review of
<br /> such plans and operatin�procedures shall in no way relieve the User from
<br /> the responsibility of modifvin� such facilities as necessary to produce a
<br /> dischar e� acceptable to the City under the nrovisions of this Division. All
<br /> facilities necessary for compliance shall be subject to periodic inspection
<br /> � the City to determine that such facilities are bein�operated in
<br /> conformity with applicable Federal, State and local law. The owner shall
<br /> maintain operatin��records of the influent and effluent to show the
<br /> �erformance of the treatment facilities and for comparison a�ainst City
<br /> monitorin�records.
<br /> � Whenever deemed necessary, the Director ma�equire Users to
<br /> designate that certain wastewater be dischar ed only into specific sewers,
<br /> relocate and/or consolidate points of dischar�e, separate sewage
