November 27, 2006 Community and Economic Development Committee Meeting Minutes <br />Page 4 <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />Council President Rouse noted that the flax abatement sub-committee on which he sits <br />has met twice and has placed a report to the Council in their Council mail boxes. <br />Don Inks noted that the tax abatement sub-committee on which he and Citizen Member <br />Wolfson sits on also has prepared a memorandum. He also presented maps setting <br />forth "Tax Abatement Citywide & T11= District" locations and "Tax Abatements in <br />Economically Distressed Areas" which is dated 9130106" (copies attached). <br />Citizen Member Wolfson noted that the memorandum on poverty wages and self- <br />sufficiency wages have been placed in the Council mail boxes. <br />Council Member Kelly reminded the Council that this Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. is the <br />next committee meeting to discuss tax abatement, <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Kelly <br />adjourned the meeting at 5:'10 p.m, <br />Res oily submitted, <br />b <br />Council Member Roland Kelly, C airperson <br />Community and Economic Development Committee <br />Attachments <br />
