July 24, 2006 PARC Committee Meeting <br />Page 2 <br />and regulations would be enhanced with each major park facility having their <br />regulations available for both patrons and employees. <br />Park Superintendent Phil St. Clair spoke in favor of the substitute bill He <br />circulated copies of the Code of Conduct, as well as park policies and <br />procedures which are utilized by the park recreation programs. He noted that <br />no one would be permanently banned from the parks. <br />In response to a question raised by Council Member Dieter, Mr. Bodnar stated <br />that police reports have not been required in the past. Mr. St. Clair noted that it <br />would depend on the type of violation, with assaults requiring the police to be <br />called. <br />Council Member Pfeifer suggested that as much pro-active means be used to let <br />the public knave about the regulations. <br />Mr. St. Clair stated that some limited signage would be further looked into as one <br />means of informing the public. <br />Following discussion, Council Member Kirsits made a motion, secanded by <br />Council Member Puzzello that substitute Bill No. 27-06 be recommended <br />favorably to Council The motion passed. <br />Under miscellaneous business, Council Member Kirsits voiced concern about <br />heavy equipment being used in the Muessel Grove, with it becoming a staging <br />area.
