EW EXHIBIT B <br />South Bend Memorial Hospital Bartlett Street Parking Structure <br />Facade Renovation <br />Carl Walker Scope of Services <br />B. Bidding Phase <br />1. Schedule, chair, and document the pre -bid conference for potential bidders. <br />2. Consult with the City during the bidding phase, answer questions and prepare <br />addenda as required. <br />3. Notify qualified contractors for bidding. We understand that the City will coordinate <br />the distribution of the bid packages to bidders. <br />4. Respond to contactors' questions, and if necessary issue project addenda. <br />5. Evaluate Contractor bids, and provide our comments and recommendations for the <br />award of the contract. <br />C. Construction Administration Phase <br />1. Attend pre- construction meeting to review specifications and design requirements with <br />the contractors. It is anticipated that this meeting will be held in conjunction with a <br />scheduled project progress meeting. <br />2. Provide ongoing consultation with the City and selected contractor throughout the <br />construction phase. <br />3. Review contractor pay requests, and assist in documentation of construction quantities <br />where unit pricing is used. <br />4. Process and review shop drawings. <br />5. Attend regularly scheduled progress meetings to coordinate work and to maintain <br />project communication. <br />6. Prepare bulletins and change orders as necessary to clarify and document <br />discrepancies. <br />7. Conduct construction observation visits in conjunction with progress meetings, <br />providing a periodic review of construction with respect to general conformance to <br />the contract documents. We will assist in observing and recording the work progress <br />and verify that, in general, the work complies with the intent of the plans and <br />specifications. A field report will be prepared for each site visit. <br />8. Prepare, distribute, and update punch list for construction contract. <br />9.
