substances which may solidify or become viscous at temperatures between <br />thirty -two (32) and one hundred fifty (150) degrees Fahrenheit or zero (0) <br />and sixty -five (65) degrees Celsius, however, the hydrocarbon portion of <br />the total oil and grease concentration may not exceed one hundred (100) <br />mg /1. Proper testing procedures shall be outlined iii for each industry's <br />d,�= �^h°pert user.. No user shall introduce or cause to be introduced <br />petroleum oil, non - biodegradable cutting oil,, or products, of mineral oil <br />origin, in amounts that will cause Pass Through or Interference. <br />0-2)CUO Any garbage that has not been properly shredded. The <br />installation and operation of any garbage grinder equipped with a motor of <br />three -fourth horsepower (0.76 hp metric) or greater shall be subject to the <br />review and approval of the Board. <br />( 11 ) Any waters or wastes containing strong acid iron pickling wastes <br />or concentrated plating solutions whether neutralized or not. <br />44) 12 Any waters or wastes containing iron, chromium, copper, zinc, <br />and similar objectionable or toxic substances; or wastes exerting an <br />excessive chlorine requirement, to such degree that any such material <br />received in the composite sewage at the sewage treatment works exceeds <br />the limits established by the Director for such materials. <br />(1-5)L13_) Any waters or wastes containing phenols or other taste- or odor - <br />producing substances, in such concentrations exceeding limits which may <br />be established by the Board as necessary, after treatment of the composite <br />sewage, to meet the requirements of the State, Federal or other public <br />agencies of jurisdiction for such discharge to the receiving waters. <br />(I 6} L41 Any waters or wastes having a yH lower than 6.0 Aany waters <br />or wastes having a pH in excess of 11.0: or having any corrosive property <br />ca able of causing damage or hazard to structures equipment, or <br />personnel of the publicly owned treatment - works. or that interferes with <br />an treatment process. Notwithstanding this provision, New Energy <br />Corp., shall be authorized to discharge at a pH not to exceed 12 in keeping <br />with its odor abatement efforts. <br />(1-7) 15 Noxious or malodorous liquids,... gases, solids, or other <br />wastewater which, either singly or by interaction with other wastes, are <br />sufficient to create a public nuisance or a hazard to life, or to prevent entry <br />into the sewers for maintenance or repair. <br />(�8)LLQ Sludges,_ screenings, or other residues from the pretreatment of <br />industrial wastes. <br />21 <br />
