ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING JANUARY 2, 2006 <br />there are pending bills regarding Human Rights, Noise, Parking and Dog licensing that <br />are tough issues that will need to be addressed. Councilmember Rouse advised that he <br />would like to see the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns (IACT) Hometown Issues <br />implemented along with the reactivation of the South Bend Commission on the Status of <br />African American Males and the South Bend Youth Council. Council President Rouse <br />stated that he looks forward to working together for the good of all the Citizens of South <br />Bend. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />Councilmember Puzzello made a motion to reappoint Marcia Jones to the Redevelopment <br />Commission. Councilmember Kelly seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote <br />of nine (9) ayes. <br />Councilmember Rouse announced that there are currently 3 appointments to the Urban <br />Enterprise Association (UEA) that are vacant.
