South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br /> Regular Meeting—April 12, 2011 <br /> 5. OLD BUSINESS <br /> There was no Old Business. THERE WAS NO OED BUSINESS <br /> 6. NEW BUSINESS <br /> A. South Bend Central Development Area <br /> (1) Proposal for professional services <br /> (Boundary survey, Intermission Inc. & <br /> Harmon Glass) <br /> Mr. Schalliol noted that Wightman Petrie has <br /> submitted a proposal to provide boundary <br /> survey services to the former Harmon Glass <br /> parcel and the adjacent property to the west <br /> owned by Granger Community Church. The <br /> survey work is needed so that we can begin <br /> the disposition process for the Harmon Glass <br /> parcel. The fee for the survey is $2,765. <br /> There are some concerns about an easement <br /> so staff requests approval of a not-to-exceed <br /> amount of$3,000. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL WITH <br /> Ms. King and unanimously carried, the WIGHTMAN PETRIE FOR THE SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Commission approved the proposal with PROPOSED AND A FEE NOT TO EXCEED$3,000. <br /> (BOUNDARY SURVEY,INTERMISSION INC.& <br /> Wightman Petrie for the scope of services HARMON GLASS) <br /> proposed and a fee not to exceed $3,000. <br /> (Boundary survey, Intermission Inc. & <br /> Harmon Glass) <br /> (2) Proposal for painting services (Former <br /> Richey's Radiator building) <br /> Mr. Schalliol noted that part of the master <br /> plan for the Coveleski Park project was to <br /> build a commissary/building. We are not <br /> constructing such building at this time, but <br /> the field needs additional storage space. The <br /> former Richey's Radiator building would <br /> serve that need perfectly. The building is <br /> 4 <br />
