Tuesday February 23rd.1915 5S5 An Underwood Typewriter was pupchased for the Safety Board at the folloTuing terms. Board. of Public Works. South. Bend, Ind. Dear Sirs: - I herewith Underwood Typewriter. submit the following proposition in regards to the purchase of an ,One, Underwood Typewriter $102.50 Less 10% discount. 10.25 92.25 We also agree to overhaul one -Underwood typewriter free of charge, also put two additional tabulator -stops on free of charge. The cost.of overhauling your old Underwood typewriter would be in the neighborhood of $10.00. Yours very truly, K. A. SNODGRASS, Mgr. , Permission,was granted to the South Bend Home Telephone Company to reset two stubs and one pole, s.nd to set one new pole and one anchor on Walnut Street,,the first alley north of Division St. as follows:- Replace the pole at the corner of the alley but place this pole inside of the curb at this is a 14 ft. alley. Company south of Sample Street on South Micn.igan Street, Deputy St. Commissioner-d. W. Fites, reports said hole has been taken bare of by the Ry. Co. Communication received, read and placed on file from Robert W Hunt & Co. Engineers of C11icago, in regard to testing paving materials. The City Engineer submitted the list of property owners in tl e matter lof the appropriation of certain property under condemnation Resolution No. 34according to Resolution on Page 425 of this record, whinh list includes the names of the o-,ivmers and holders of property and of interests therein sought to be taken or beneficai_ly or in- juriously effected, and the description of the several pieces of property Irklich is af- fected b,7 she said appropriation proceedings. Thereupon the Board proceeded to award the dams: -°es sustained and to assess the benefits accruing to'each piece of property upon said list. It was thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously adopted, resolved that said list, together with the amounts of benefits and damages and net benefits and net damages therein set forth as to the several parcels of land be adopted and ordered spread upon this record by reference, and that the respective amount Of bene- fits co itaini.d in said list be and are he—bv assessed a.qa nst, th.e sever -al '.-acts of ].and as specifica7_11r �t 'forth tin -saicd l`wst,and' that the ��et ;be�ief is cr tze� ciaz�ages, as G��e case_;may be as to the respect-ve tracts of land, contained in said list are hereby awarded or_ assessed, as the case may be as to the said several tracts ofland.
