Tf' 509 J Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 354 for Pavement on Cottage Grove Avenue from Grand View Avenue to Oak Street. in the City of South Bend., Indiana. jtpon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrance was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the bene- fits to property liable to be . assessed for said improvements are equal to the -esti- mated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the 25th. day of Sept., 1914 and on the 2nd. day of Octobe.r,1914 in a newspaper of General circulation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements, up to 10:00 A.M. on the 13th., day of October.1914. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids . In the matter of the deferred hearing on Vacation Resolutio4 No. 23 for the purpose of vacating a part of the proposed William Street . In the City of South Bend, Indiana. JThe Board having the above matter under consideration decided to modify said resolution as follows:- Beginning on N9 th line of Marion Street at a point.. 33 feet West of Southeast corner of Lot 57 Henrick's and Grants Addition; thence northerly to a point in center of old Kankakee Mill Race a distance of 39.3 feet west of east line of said ,lot 57 Henrick's & Grant's Addition; thence north parallel with and 3.3 feet west of E. line of Lot 7 Burrough's Sub. Div. of Bank Out Lot 115 to the north line of said lot 7 which point is south line of Short Navarre St. Thence west along south line of Short Navarre Street 10-7/10 feet;thence .ouch pararell with and 49 ft. West of the E. line of said Lot 7 and the East line of Lot 57 Henrick's and Grant's Addition to the North line of Marion Street; thence east along the North line of said Marion Street 16 feet to the place of beginning$ and the Board declare the above described property in all things vacated and this resolution -in all things raTiried, confirmed and approved. Regfved further, that the Oily Engineer, be instructed to prepare a roll showing awards of damages end assessments of benefits to all parties and properties interested in the above matter. JHearing given on Assessment roll and final estimate for Asphaltic Concrete Pavement on Cedar Street from Emerick Street to Eddy Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 295. In the City of South Bend; Indiana. In the above matter remonstrators appeared remonstrating against their assessments, but no written remonstrances were filed. The Board aster due consideration find t'nat the property assessed in said roll filed August, ."th. 191A is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shoirn on said rolls, and the Board f'utier find that tn.e assessment roll filed August 25th. ,I" 14 and the final estimate allowed August 25th.,1914 should be and the same are hereby -in all things ratified, confirmed and &,)proved. Hearing given on assessment rol and final estimate for curb and vaalk on Pennsylvania; Avenue from TUi Stre�7.t to Iviiami Street, under Improvement, Resolution No. 310. In tie City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstratiors appeared and no written re- rionstances were filed.
