C.., Whitcomb es sureties, for the sum of One Thousand Dollars was approved by the Board. Guarantee Bond for the summof ')ne I^.urdred and fourteen am eighty nine cents ($114.99) for one years maintenance on Marion Street Brick_ pavement, signed by Hoban and Roach, was approved by the Board. Bond and contract for the resurfacing of Marion Street with 3" Bituminous Macadam from west line of St. Joseph St. to E. line of Lot 6 Hammond & ✓'Whitcomb Addition, under Improvement Resolution No. 339, signed by Hoban & Roach as principals and The Fidelity and Casaulty Company of New York fl.$ sureties, was approved by the Board. ""Partial estimate allowed Staples and Ackerman for the pipe sewer on Indiana Avenue,under improvement Resolution No. 325 for the amount of ...... $342.04 Partial estimate allowed Staples and Ackerman,Cont;ractors for the sewer on Donald Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 321. for the amount of $372.71 Communication received and read from the Southern Ohio Vault Company acknowledging order for grave vaults for the City Cemetery. The same was placed on file. Complaints about defective crosswalks, sidewalks and railroad crossings received from Wm. Goebel, Councilman of the 7th. Ward, was reported on by the Street Commissioner as follows:— In regard 'to new cross walks at Indiana & Scott, Indiana and Taylor, / Indiana and William Street and India a and Franklin Street. Same is on list to be prepared. Cross walk in bod con ition at Corner of Stull and Franklin. Same is ✓ repaired. Defective brick walk at 233 E. Paris Street. The above has been re— paied and is sufficient for the present. Defective brick walk at 210 E. Ohio Street. Sidewalk reported below grade, but Fairly smooth. Repair crosswalks at Indiana Avenue and Kendall Street, Michigan Central R. R. and Kendall Street, MichigAn Central Ry. and Kimble Avenue, Indiana Avenue .and. Franklin Street. Reported that the Michigan Central Ry. Vompany_ are working on the above. Crosswalks will be repaired in about two days. Brick walk in bad condition on account of tree roots at 4-09 E. Wenger Street. The above was reproted as raised some, by -roots and needs some repairs. Communication received from Indiana &.Michigan Elec. Company stating prices of 90 C.P. lamps and 60 C.P.Lamps. The same was read and placed on file. #364.
