All members present. <br />fHearing on The pavement on Sherman Avenue from Michigan Avenue to south end of <br />Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 301 was deferred 'until Tuesday July 2eth.9 <br />1914. at 7:45 P.M. <br />Citizens appeared before the Board in regard to a petition filed with the Board <br />on March 17th..21914. for the opening and ext-ension of South Scott Street from Sprnnle <br />Street to Terre Haute R. R. A resolution was ordered prepared on the same and a . <br />hearing set for. <br />JHearing given on Vacation Resolution No. 22 for the purpose of.vacating the <br />following described property to -wit: Vacation of Alley along lots 10211,4 and <br />So. 1/2 of lot 3 in Stover and Witwer+s Addition, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were <br />filed, the Board therefore sustain all former action taken and declare the above des- <br />cribed property in all things vacated and this resolution in ail things ratified, con- <br />firmed and approved. <br />Resolved further that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare a roll <br />showing awards of damages and assessments of benefits to all parties and properties <br />interested in the above matter. <br />J Hearing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 30 for the opening and <br />extension of Calvert Street from Main Street to Michigan Street, in the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was <br />filed. All remonstrances were over -ruled and thereupon, being fully advised in the <br />matter the Board takes final action on said resolution, confirming without modification <br />all former action taken on the same. <br />The Board therefore declares the above property in all things condemned <br />and appropriated for public use, the Board now orders that a list or roll be pre- <br />pared of -all owners or holders of property and of vaulable interests therein sought <br />to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which said roll shall also describe the <br />property beneficially affected. <br />JPartial estimate allowed Stewart -Sheets Company on the Bowman Creek <br />Trunk sewer, for the amount of.* .... <br />Partial estimate allowed Harry N. Barnes, on the Pavement on Nord Street <br />for the amount of........................................................$3,524.95 <br />Complaitt received in regard to light at the corner of La Salle Avenue <br />and Taylor Street. The same was referred to the Street Commissioner to investigate. <br />Petition filed with the Board for a concrete pavement on Allen Street <br />from Michigan Aver -tie to Portage Avenue. The same was read and placed on filesto be <br />brought before the Board in Silty (60) days. <br />Remolstrance filed against the pavement on Allen Street between Michigan <br />Avenue and Portage Avenue. The same was read and placed on file. <br />Mr. <br />Sheets of the Stewart -Sheets Company <br />appeared before the Board in <br />regard to the refilling of the excavation and re -placing of the fence on the <br />Birdsell <br />property <br />on High along the right of waybof the <br />Bowman Creek Trunk sewer. <br />The City <br />Engineer <br />was instructed to arrange with Mr. J. <br />C. Birdsell and Mr. Sn.eets <br />to meet <br />and to go <br />out over the Bowman Creek Trunk sewer <br />right of way along the <br />Birdsell <br />property. <br />The Street Sommissioner reported on petitioi, for light _on cor...
