2. Performed damage assessment, prepared cost estimates for repairs across six (6) park <br />areas damaged by the flooding. These areas included the Governor Kernan Walkway, <br />East Bank River Walk, East Race, Pier Park, East Bank Trail, and Riverside Drive. <br />These were prepared for City staff s use in submitting claims with FEMA. <br />B. As may be requested or directed by the City, provide as needed professional services that may <br />include attending FEMA meetings, conducting investigations, reviewing technical material and <br />providing recommendations and other communications. These on -call professional services may <br />include planning, studies, and investigations as may be requested or directed by the Owner. <br />A1.02 Prepare Schematic Design Documents <br />A. Site Assessment and Survey <br />1. The Engineer shall review construction plans of past improvements in and near the <br />project area. It is assumed for this proposal that the City will provide these plans from <br />their records. <br />2. The Engineer shall inform all properties, via U.S. Mail letter, within or adjacent to the <br />proposed survey area of planned survey activities pursuant to Indiana Code IC 25-21.5- <br />9-7. <br />3. The Engineer shall Establish two (2) inter -visible horizontal control points and <br />witnesses. And establish temporary benchmarks on USGS Datum (NAVD 88). <br />4. The Engineer shall call IUPPS for utility locates. <br />5. The Engineer shall provide topographic survey of the area within the project limits. <br />LFA shall obtain bank topography for approximately 700 lineal feet from the north <br />edge of the dog park to 50 feet north of the north overlook deck. Survey width will be <br />from the uphill side of the existing trail to the midline of the St. Joseph River. River <br />bottom data will be obtained with an echosounder. The following will be acquired <br />along with the river bottom data, the following data collected will include: <br />i. Existing grade features <br />ii. Limits of hard surfaces <br />iii. Location of overlook decks and path amenities <br />iv. Corby Boulevard outfall <br />V. Utility locates <br />vi. Ordinary High, Normal, and Current water elevations by inspection. <br />6.
