L'$.1 �4-- <br />Chic' of i' iice <br />Statements of the complaining witnesses were turned <br />over to City Attorney Iden S. Romig who acted for the Board as <br />prosecutor. Louis M. Hammersehmidt appeared for Sergt. Mielke <br />Evidence to support the above charges was presented by Mr. <br />Stacey and Mr. Rightley. <br />The witnesses subponeaed by the Board of Safety wlio <br />,gar gsestiioned by Mr. Hamimerschmidt and Mr. Romig appearedm <br />in the order named: G. A.Farabaugh, Sergt. Mielke, Joe <br />Ros nberg, Mrs. Ipes, Harry Wielke, Thomas Moss, Mr. Lewis, <br />Glen Deif, Curtis Turnoek, Oreal Ramilton, Harry Jennings, <br />Mr. Atwood, Ray Winters, Paul Polinski, Frank Wendowski, <br />Joseph Lavitt, Otis Cunningham, Theodore Wolters, L.E. <br />Scott, <br />After receiving the evidence Mr. Romig moved that <br />the Board adjourn until 10 a.m. November 26th. and that the <br />final arguments be heard at _that time. Motion made by <br />Dr. Johnston that the Board adjourn at 7:15 p.m. Report of <br />the meeting and proceedings taken by Frank Batson, court repab- <br />rte <br />Signed y <br />�. V ce -Pres . 5f Board. <br />Attest <br />Clerk. <br />Adjourned meeting held at Board of Safety office <br />Tue day morning at 10 a.m. November 26th. Mr. Reeder and I ohs <br />to were present. Mr. Romig made his plea to the Board asking <br />th t the evidence presented by Mr. Stacey and Mr. Ri ede <br />be onsidered by the Board and Sergt. Mielke be suspended. <br />Mr. Hammerschmidt then replied and asked that the Board <br />retain Sergt. Mielke. Mr. Romig made a final plea. After <br />deliberation Mr. Reeder announce that Sergt.
