South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting -February 8, 2011 you've got the unused railroad. Across from there you've got Diversified Transport's property which is defunct. That goes all the way from Chippewa to Ireland Road. It wouldn't be too hard for the city to acquire those properties and get rid of that foundry and run the road right down through there. It would probably save a lot of money, and it would save headaches from traffic bottlenecks. That's all I have to present on the subject. Ms. Jones thanked Mr. Bollinger for his comments and directed staff to respond to them at a later time, noting that the Commission's actions here simply appropriate the money for the budget. There being no one else who wished to speak regarding the TIF appropriation resolutions, Ms. Jones closed the public hearing for whatever action the Commission wished to take.
