'The' Sebrettxy will call these men -in at once <br />and-Will establish an.accbUnt-with each one and keep an accurate record <br />of how the fund is dispensed and keep the individual advised at all-times. <br />The question of supervision of the Dog Pound was discussed but , due <br />to lack of available time, a decision was not arrived at. <br />Special police officer's commission for the Oliver Hotel in favor of <br />Ward O"Bartib, d'doompatied-by official bond in the United States Fidelity <br />and Guaranty Company was approved by the Board. <br />_.: . .., A communication from the Chicago Motor Club to the Mayor was referred <br />to the Board with reference to attendance at a Police-Traffic School at <br />Northwestern University by Officers of-the Department. After considering <br />the matter, the Board decided not to take action at this time. <br />Xr. S.-S. Gill was present at the meeting of the Board and the matter <br />he brought up last April was again discussed with reference to an <br />obligation incurred by Chester Wilmont in the amount of $150.00. The <br />Board informed Mr. Gill that, owing to the fact.,that Officer Wilmont had <br />taken advantage of voluntary bankruptcy proceedings, it could not <br />definitely guarantee any relief but that Officer Wilmont would be called <br />in'&t the next meeting to'discuss this matter from a moral obligation <br />standpoint. <br />A letter from F. 1. Book, first radio operator, addressed to the <br />Chief of Police was referred to the Board in reference to attending <br />Convention of-Associated Police.Communication Officers at Indianapolis <br />October 7th to''10th. 'The-Board'took no definite action,'as -the Radio <br />Department being under the Electrical Department communications should be <br />received through Mt. Qualls, Superintendent. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:15 A.
