t5,7, <br />The request of the Police roman, Mrs. Minnie Evans, that the Ladies' <br />Auxilliary of Policemen's wives be permitted to use the squad room <br />one night a month at eight O'clock was granted and the secretary <br />wqs instructed-to so notify Mrs. Evans. <br />Mr. Gaston Tatum of 621 West Y,iar%on St. through the Secretary of fered <br />a complaint that the Fitterling Trucking Company of 520 N. Scott St. <br />was parking unrestricted in front of his house which did not permit <br />him to park his own car and interfered with delivery of coal to his <br />home. He requested that they be restrained from continuing this <br />practice. The,matter was referred to the Police Department. <br />A�letter from K. S. Hermann, President of the Board of Aviation Commi- <br />ssioners to Chief Lane was read requesting police powers for Capt. <br />Charles Bowers who has been appointed manager of the airport. The <br />request was granted. <br />The matter of an assistant to the Clerk of the Board of Safety and <br />Board of Works was taken up with Chief Lane -and it was decided -to <br />release Bert Kochanowski to the Boards subject to call of�the Chief <br />for,such stenographic work as he might have. <br />Continuation certificate on the Bond of Officer Claude Keller was <br />approved by the Board. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A. H. <br />Chairman <br />Attest Clerk <br />Addenda to proceedinms of n eting of the Board of Public Safoty <br />as of Fobruary 11, 1935: <br />dilliarn Fsillion, police officer, i:,ho had in 1 °34 had a motorcycle <br />accident resulting, in the fracture of his right forearms and had been <br />under the care of City Physician, Dr. E. L. Johnston, reported that <br />the fracture had never been properly reduced and that it was now in <br />dangerous condition. Dr:. Thos. Pauszek, the present City Physician, <br />upon careful examination found it ,,could be necessary to employ a <br />thoroughly reliable bony: specialist to open up the arm and remove a <br />portion "of the bone and that it should be done immediately. The <br />Board instructed that 71m. InTillion and Dr. Pauszek determine upon a <br />surgeon anal have the necessary work do e at once, <br />Attest . Ieyrk <br />
