1.3.12 Pedestrian Refuge Island <br />Evaluate the feasibility of constructing a refuge island. A concept plan shall be developed <br />illustrating proposed infrastructure, access, planting, and amenity improvements. <br />Task 1.4 Opinions of Probable Cost <br />Prepare a quantity estimate and an opinion of probable cost for each identified project listed <br />in Task 1.3. <br />1. Quantities calculated shall be used in the preparation of the opinion of probable cost <br />2. Itemized list of pay items shall be developed following Owner standards and <br />specifications <br />3. Opinion of probable cost shall be prepared in Excel® using bid history data from the <br />Owner and from current and recent Engineer project data bases <br />Task 1.5 Stakeholder Meetings <br />Participate in up to four (4) stakeholder meetings to determine the stakeholder opinions on <br />key issues and use to develop the final project recommendations. Stakeholders may <br />include: <br />1. Studebaker Fountain Committee <br />2. .lames Madison Primary Center <br />3. Memorial Hospital <br />Task 1.6 Draft Recommendations <br />Prepare a draft recommendations document including maps, graphics, narrative and an <br />opinion of probable cost for each identified project. The draft recommendations document <br />shall include an evaluation of each project based on a set of criteria established earlier in the <br />project.
