All members present. <br />Bids were received and opendd for Pavement on Pennsylva-nia Avenue from <br />Michigan Street to Miami Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 296. In the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana: ' 'The same were read and referred to- the City Civil Engineer for <br />tabulation. to be reported back at 7:45 P.M. Tuesday April 28th.,1914.~ <br />Blue print for a side-track crossing Wilber Street presented. by Staples <br />✓ & FArdman and: the C.' 1. & S. lbj ` Co. , wa*s approved by the Board. <br />Petition for a brick or concrete pavement in the alley north of LaSalle <br />✓ Avenue from Main Street to Lafayette Street and the alley hest of Main Street from <br />La Salle Avenue to Madison Street, was presented to the Board. The same was read <br />and plLced on file to be brought up on May 26th. , 1914 at 7:45 P-M. <br />The Board instructed the Clerk to give Hoban & Roach a three day notice <br />✓ to locate a sewer tap at M. Blechschmidt's house at 919 E. Sample Street. <br />A bid was received for lumber for the Street Dept., The same was read <br />and referred to the City Street Cormissioner for investigation. <br />The City Civil Engineer meported favorably onnthe Opening of South Scott <br />,/ ' Street from Sample Street to Indiana Avenue. A resolution was ordered prepared on the <br />same, and set for a' hearing. ' ' <br />Tide City Civil Engineer reported favorable on the opening of Calvert <br />✓ Street from Main Street to Michigan Street, and recommended that; tale petition be <br />granted. A resolution for ordered prepared and a. hearing had on same. <br />The City Civil Engineer reported favorable on the petition for a pavement <br />on. South Franklin Street from West Sample Street to Catvert. Street, and recommended tYit <br />that'the petition be granted. No action was taken by the Board in this matter: <br />The City Civil Engineer reported favorably on the petition for curb <br />and walk on-Crange:'Streetfrom Sadie Street to Olive Street , and. recommended that same <br />.be granted.
